Every year, LTU carries more than 5.6 million passengers on its 27 red and white coloured jet aircraft. More than 90 airports worldwide are served by Air Berlin and LTU aircraft, ranging from the Airbus A320-200 with 168 seats to the Airbus A330-300 with a seating capacity of 361.
LTU operates with one of the youngest and technically most advanced fleets worldwide with its aircraft being highly economical and never the less extremely comfortable. LTU is one of the safest Airlines worldwide.
The individual tour operator LTUplus and internet travel provider BUY.bye Touristik are part of the LTU airline. In 2007 the Air Berlin PLC & Co. Luftverkehrs KG, registered office in Berlin, acquired 100 % of the LTU shares.
